This study comprehensively examines the impact of foreign direct investment (FDI), government efficiency, and energy consumption on the economic growth of member countries of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) during the period of 2000 to 2022. The main objective of this research is to evaluate and analyze the mutual effects of the aforementioned variables on the economic growth trend in these countries, considering their specific economic and political characteristics. In this regard, by utilizing panel data and employing the panel vector autoregression (PVAR) method, the dynamic patterns of relationships between the variables have been investigated. The findings from the analyses indicate that foreign direct investment, especially in countries with more developed and stronger financial and institutional infrastructures, has a positive and significant impact on economic growth. This effect can be justified through technology transfer, increased productivity, and the creation of new job opportunities. Furthermore, government efficiency has been identified as a key factor in attracting foreign investment, improving resource allocation, and enhancing economic performance in these countries. On the other hand, energy consumption also shows a positive and significant relationship with economic growth, which indicates the vital role of energy in the production and economic development processes of OPEC countries. However, this relationship may be modified in the long term under the influence of stricter environmental policies, increasing limitations on energy resources, and efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The results of the study clearly indicate that OPEC member countries need to reduce dependence on oil revenues, strengthen government efficiency and transparency, and attract foreign investment in non-oil sectors with high added value in order to achieve sustainable and diversified economic growth.Based on the findings of this research, it is recommended that economic policymakers in OPEC member countries reduce vulnerability to sharp fluctuations in oil prices and increasing environmental challenges by focusing specifically on diversifying the economic structure, improving the business environment, facilitating investment processes, and optimizing energy consumption. This requires institutional reforms, human resource development, and the encouragement of innovation and entrepreneurship in the non-oil sectors
