Quarterly Journal of Quantitative Economics (JQE)

Journal of Quantitative Economics (JQE) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published quarterly by Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz, Iran.

The journal was formerly titled Economic Review and has been published under its current title since 2009, following the approval of license No. 2602/3 from the Commission for the Evaluation of Iranian Scientific Journals, Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.

JQE holds an “A” grade in the latest national evaluation (2024) by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and is indexed in reputable national and international databases.

Aims and Scope

The Journal of Quantitative Economics publishes original research articles and critical review papers in theoretical, empirical, and applied economics, as well as related interdisciplinary areas. The main topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

12. Emerging Interdisciplinary Areas (Digital Economy, FinTech, Innovation Economics)

The journal welcomes interdisciplinary works from fields such as Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, and Management that incorporate quantitative approaches to economic issues.

Publication Ethics

JQE strictly adheres to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines. All manuscripts are checked for originality using iThenticate, Samin Noor, and Hamanandjoo plagiarism detection systems before entering the double-blind peer review process.
