All papers submitted to JQE are subject to a single-blind peer reviewing procedure. Our editorial decision on each article is based on initial editor processing and refereeing by expert reviewers. Review times often differ depending on the subject area of the paper. All manuscripts submitted to JQE must be original contributions, and must not be under consideration for publication with another journal, nor have been previously published, in part or whole.

Steps of review, accepting and publishing articles in JQE journal

1. Announcing the editor's opinion; (Regarding the completion of the case, the article examines the degree of appropriateness with the thematic axis of the journal, appointing a referee and finally after being allowed to enter the review process).

If the editor's opinion on the mentioned cases is positive, the article will be entered to the next stage and if his opinion is negative, the article will be returned to the author (s).

2. Controlling the article in terms of observing the items mentioned in the style and format of the publication; (If there is a defect in the files and the publication format is not observed, the article will be returned to the author to complete the items).

3. Sending to review; (If the files are complete and the publication format is fully observed, the article will be sent to two reviewers at the same time).

4. Receiving the results of review and sending them to the author for corrections;

5. Receiving corrections and sending the article for final review; (If the files are complete and the items mentioned in the editing letter are observed, the article will be sent to the previous reviewer to check the final corrections).

6. Receiving the opinions of the final referee and presenting the article in the editorial session to announce the final opinion

7. Placing accepted articles in the list of articles ready for publication

8. Publication of the article. (All articles are submitted to the corresponding author after page layout and editing and before publication, to be done if there is a need for control and change, and finally, the author's approval for publication is obtained).

Note: All correspondence is done with the corresponding author and only the steps are briefly communicated to other authors.

Review process

The process of review articles in this journal is done by peer-review and Double-Blind peers. Peer Review is a process that comprehensively reviews and evaluates specialized articles by experts in the same field. This type of review is done in different ways, one of which is double-blind, which allows the reviewer to review the article based solely on its contents.

Type of article review

Review in JQE journal is in absentia. In this way, the reviewer appropriate to each article is selected by the editor and the article is sent to them through the publication system.  The author can see the results in the publication system after the editor's approval.

Article review time

Article review time varies depending on the topic and quality of the article (an article might need several stages of review and correction). In addition, fifteen days of refereeing time have been considered for each referee at each stage.
