Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to investigate the dynamics of firms entering and leaving the Iranian food and beverage industry market. To achieve this goal, the four-digit code (ISIC) data of 15 active the food and beverage industries, in the period 2009 - 2019 has been used. In addition to market structure variables, Minimum efficient size, Entry rate, Exit rate,Four fire concentration raite, … and environmental variables,Gross Domestice production and sanction affecting market dynamics, the impact of real exchange rate variables, exchange rate uncertainty, inflation and inflation uncertainty as control variables in the model have been studied. The method of measuring the uncertainty variables of the model is The Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity (GARCH) approach. The final model is also estimated as fixed effects by the Feasible Generalized Least Squares (FGLS) method. Indicates the significant impact of structural and environmental factors and in accordance with the theoretical and internal and external empirical studies on the dynamics of entry and exit of firms in the food and beverage industry market during the period under review. Also, the sanction variable has the most negative impact and Minimum efficient size have the least negative impact on the entry and exit dynamics of the industry
