چکیده

برابری جنسیتی یکی از شاخص‌های رشد و توسعه اقتصادی واز اهداف مهم اقتصاد است؛ فناوری اطلاعات و ارتباطات (ICT) نیز از مهمترین معیارهای توسعه و پیشرفت اقتصادی می‌باشد. هدف این مقاله بررسی تأثیر فناوری اطلاعات و ارتباطات بر نابرابری جنسیتی، با استفاده از روش داده‌های ترکیبی در مجموعه‌ای منتخب از کشورهای درحال توسعه و توسعه یافته (57 کشور) طی دوره‌ی زمانی 2012-2005 است .دو متغیر تعداد کاربران تلفن ثابت و موبایل و تعداد کاربران اینترنت به‌عنوان متغیرهای جایگزین ICT در نظر گرفته شده-اند و اثر آن‌ها در رفع نابرابری جنسیتی بررسی شد. نتایج نشان داد فناوری اطلاعات و ارتباطات تاثیر مثبت بر برابری جنسیتی داشته و توسعه آن باعث کاهش نابرابری جنسیتی ‌شده است.

Gender equality isone ofthe main goals ofeconomicgrowth andeconomic development, information and communication technology (ICT) as well as it is the most important criteriaof economic development.The purpose of this paper is to examine the impact of ICT on gender inequality, using the combined data set of selected developing and developed countries (57 countries) during the period 2012-2005.Two variables were considered as the alternative for ICT; The number of the Mobile cellular subscriptions and Telephone lines, and the Internet users per 100 personsand their effects on the elimination of gender inequality was studied. The results show that ICT has a positive impact on gender equality and development is reduces gender inequality.
