One of the key issues for any organization is finding ways to encourage them to perform better. Businesses constantly need to motivate the workforce to be more flexible, respond more quickly, provide reliable solutions to complex issues, and increase production, generally.  According to conventional economics, increasing monetary rewards will increase the efforts of the workforce. In other words, more monetary rewards mean stronger incentives and vice versa. This simplification is used in many economic situations; however, it does not necessarily apply to environments where the workforce is part of a group and their rewards are affected by the work of the other group members. In fact, it may be that the economic theory claiming that more rewards lead to more effort by the labor force does not apply under certain conditions, and a situation contrary to it occurs. Actually, in such circumstances, some members of the group might take advantage of the other members of the group, and will get more rewards while doing less work, which has been described by Winter (2009) and McClure et al. (2014) as incentive reversal. Incentive reversal indicates a situation in which an increase in rewards for all the members of a group will only lead to an effort made by a fraction of the agents. The main objective of this study is an experimental survey of incentive reversal in the framework of a sequential game. In this regard, 135 students from Ayatollah Haeri University of Meybod participated in a two-stage game consisting of three-person teams. The results showed that: first, with regards to incentive reversal, the increase in the cost of effort results in more effort and thus more production. Second, when the cost of effort is high, each player will attempt to exert his/her effort, if and only if he/she observed that all the agents before him/her have attempted to exert their efforts. Third, based on incentive reversal theory predictions, the first participants exert less effort at low costs. The findings of the present study on incentive reversals indicate the important conclusion that large monetary incentives may lose their effectiveness if the validity of this potential threat is devalued. Also, the explicit and complete introduction of rewards may sometimes not have the desired results. For example, guaranteeing increased pay to employees or providing better job opportunities that reduce effort costs does not always lead to increased performance. Rather, they may even lead to incentive reversals .}, keywords = {Reversal Incentives,game theory,Team Product,Experimental Study}, title_fa = {بررسی آزمایشگاهی چرخش انگیزه‌ها در قالب یک بازی متوالی :کاربردی از اقتصاد رفتاری}, abstract_fa = {یک گروه، واحد سازمان یافته‌ای است که افراد در آن هدف مشترکی دارند، اعضاء آن با یکدیگر کار می‌کنند، و تبادل متقابل اطلاعات و تجربیات در آن وجود دارد. یکی از سؤالات کلیدی هر سازمانی، یافتن راه‌هایی برای ترغیب آنها به عملکرد بهتر است. بنگاهها به‌طور پیوسته نیازمند انگیزه‌دهی به نیروی کار برای انعطاف‌پذیری بیشتر، پاسخگویی سریع‌تر، ارائه راه‌حل‌های قابل اطمینان برای مسائل پیچیده و در کل افزایش تولید هستند.  اقتصاد متعارف بر این باور است که افزایش پاداش‌های پولی، منجر به افزایش تلاش نیروی کار می‌شود. به عبارت دیگر، پاداش پولی بیشتر به معنی انگیزه‌های قدرتمندتر است و برعکس. این ساده‌سازی در موقعیت‌های اقتصادی زیادی کاربرد دارد، اما لزوماً برای محیط‌هایی که در آن نیروی کار در گروه فعالیت کرده و پاداش‌های وی تحت تأثیر فعالیت دیگر اعضای گروه است، کاربرد ندارد. در حقیقت تحت شرایطی ممکن است این نظریه اقتصادی که پاداش بیشتر منجر به تلاش بیشتر توسط نیروی کار می‌شود؛ کاربرد خود را ازدست بدهد و شرایطی مغایر با آن ایجاد شود. در حقیقت در این حالت احتمالاً برخی از اعضای گروه از دیگر اعضای گروه سواری رایگان  خواهند گرفت و در ازای دریافت پاداش بیشتر، کار کمتری را  ارائه خواهند کرد که وینتر (2009) و کلور و همکاران (2014)  این عکس العمل  افراد را  چرخش انگیزه‌ها نام‌گذاری کردند. چرخش انگیزه‌ها نشان‌دهنده وضعیتی است که در آن افزایش در پاداش‌های در نظر گرفته شده برای همه اعضای گروه، فقط منجر به اعمال تلاش توسط برخی از عوامل شود. هدف اصلی مطالعه حاضر بررسی آزمایشگاهی چرخش انگیزه‌ها در قالب یک بازی متوالی است. در این چارچوب پیاده‌سازی یک بازی تیمی سه نفره دو مرحله‌ای در یک نمونه 135 نفره از دانشجویان، در دانشگاه‌ آیت‌الله حائری میبد نشان داد که اولاً: در صورت وجود چرخش انگیزه‌ها، افزایش هزینه‌های تلاش منجر به تلاش بیشتر و در نتیجه تولید محصول بیشتر می‌شود. ثانیاً: وقتی هزینه تلاش بالاست، هر بازیکن تلاش خود را اعمال خواهد کرد، اگر و تنها اگر وی مشاهده کند که تمام عوامل قبل از وی تلاش خود را اعمال کرده‌اند. ثالثاً: بر اساس پیش‌بینی نظریه چرخش انگیزه‌ها، مشارکت کنندگان اول تلاش کمتری را در هزینه پایین اعمال می‌کنند. یافته‌های مطالعه حاضر در مورد چرخش انگیزه‌ها، بیانگر این نتیجه مهم هستند که مشوق‌های پولی زیاد در صورت بی‌ارزش کردن اعتبار این تهدید بالقوه ممکن است اثرگذاری خود را از دست بدهند. همچنین معرفی صریح و کامل پاداش‌ها نیز ممکن است گاهی نتایج دلخواه را دربر نداشته باشد. به عنوان مثال تضمین افزایش پرداخت به کارکنان یا ارائه فرصت‌های شغلی مناسب‌تر که هزینه‌های تلاش را کاهش می‌دهد، همیشه منجر به افزایش در عملکرد نمی‌شود. بلکه حتی ممکن است منجر به چرخش انگیزه‌ها شوند.}, keywords_fa = {چرخش انگیزه‌ها,نظریه بازی‌ها,تولید گروهی,مطالعه آزمایشگاهی}, url = {https://jqe.scu.ac.ir/article_15717.html}, eprint = {https://jqe.scu.ac.ir/article_15717_d59abd7750e1c030745ee05e94ae1608.pdf} }
